This is the page where Lorrie posts dozens of helpful how-to articles for our consumers.  Covering a large variety of interior design topics, Lorrie helps our consumers learn how to decorate for themselves.  New articles are featured each week and the database of articles can be searched by topic and keyword.

My Favorite Things

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens…only kidding!  My Favorite Things is where our consumers go to discover what is hip, stylish, and trendy.  Lorrie features specific product recommendations along with vendor spotlights so that consumers have access to the things that catch her professional eye on the Web.

Category Sponsorship Program

The My Design Secrets Category Sponsorship Program offers a direct connection to people who are looking to add style to their home by purchasing products online.

Currently we are offering sponsorship opportunities by Category.  You can view an example of an ad placement on the next page. We have 23 Categories of Home Furnishings and within those categories a number of different Subcategories. The number of Subcategories within each Category is listed in parentheses.  Your ad will be featured on the Category page as well as each Subcategory page, giving you maximum exposure to consumers.

Payment Details

1. Payment

Payment must be received in full prior to launching your Premium Advertisement, Sponsorship or Featured Vendor Listing.

2. Ad Creative

All Ads and photos are subject to My Design Secrets approval.

All Ads, photos, and accompanying information must be received 3 business days prior to placement.

We accept the following ad file types: JPEG.  My Design Secrets does not accept script files or additional coding for upload.

3. Cancellation Policy: 

Premium Advertising campaigns under 100,000 Impressions are non-refundable if cancelled.  Advertisers who have purchased over 100,000 impressions who wish to cancel their campaign may do so at any time with 48 hours notice to My Design Secrets.  All impressions served during the 48 hours following notice of termination are non-refundable.

Sponsorship contracts for periods of one month or less cannot be cancelled and are nonrefundable.  Sponsors who wish to cancel a contract lasting more than one month will receive a partial refund for unused paid Sponsor time only, excluding the first month. 

4. Performance Tracking Delivery (Premium Advertising Campaigns)

Ad campaign impressions will be tracked by a 3rd party company utilized by My Design Secrets.

Under-delivery:  My Design Secrets will make commercially reasonable efforts to deliver all impressions sold to our advertisers.  However, all ad sales are based on traffic estimates and forecasts, and actual site traffic may vary.  In the event of under delivery of impressions, My Design Secrets will refund advertisers for any un-served impressions or credit advertiser these impressions toward a future campaign.

Over-delivery:  In the event of over-delivery of impressions, advertisers will not be charged for any impressions above what was sold.  We consider that a win-win!!
